How much syrup should you put in your coffee?
A guideline per drink, from a small espresso to a large iced latte.

How much syrup you need depends on your glass, your coffee and your taste. As a guideline:
- Espresso or ristretto: 5 to 10 ml
- Cappuccino or flat white: 15 to 20 ml
- Latte or iced latte (250 to 350 ml): 20 to 30 ml
- Large iced coffee or frappé: 30 ml
- Lemonade or iced tea (250 ml): 15 to 25 ml
Start with a small amount and taste. You can always add more, but you can't take it back out. Use a measuring cup or a dosing pump to get the same flavour every time.
Syrup first or coffee first?
Pour the syrup into the glass first, then add the coffee and stir. This spreads the syrup evenly, even in iced coffee.
More than coffee
Syrup also tastes great in yoghurt, over ice cream, on pancakes or in a milkshake. Take a look at our recipes for inspiration.
